The reporter learned from the 2012 China International Nanotechnology Industry Development Forum that as the first region in China to position the nanotechnology industry as a strategic emerging industry leading its transformation and upgrading, the park's nanotechnology industry output value exceeded 6 billion yuan in 2011, an increase of 58%, driving related industries' output value to nearly 100 billion yuan! In the first half of this year, the output value of the nanotechnology industry exceeded 4 billion yuan, an increase of 60%.
