Facial skin has much lower electrical resistance than the rest of the body and is more sensitive. Eye skin is even thinner than facial skin, with even lower resistance and thus higher sensitivity. The perception of current is related to individual physiological characteristics and the contact area between the body and the electrodes. For 50% probability of perception, the current for an adult male is approximately 1100μA, and for an adult female, approximately 700μA. Human body current perception value: approximately 335 (μA). Therefore, our microcurrent membrane product is set at 1.5v, producing a current of 50μA-1000μA, which is very safe on facial skin.
